About Thera-pets

Thera-pets is an animal assisted visitation program of Rolling Hills Farm. We are a nonprofit volunteer organization. There is no charge for our visits, ever.  We bring our miniature donkeys to anyone who wants to visit with them, including elderly, children and people with special needs. We would love to come your school, church or nursing home. Our miniature donkeys have been trained to be calm and accept whatever comes their way.  Our vision is to bring joy to the community and to make a difference one smile at a time. If you know one person or a group of people who would benefit from our thera-pet program, contact us to schedule a Rolling Hills Farm miniature donkey visit. All of our donkeys are registered and current on shots, including worming, rabies, and coggins (negative infectious diseases). It would be our honor to spend time with you at your location and you can see for yourself the joy a miniature donkey brings! **Our children's book, FIRECRACKER THE MINIATURE DONKEY MAKES A MARVELOUS CHOICE, has been published and we are now available to do book readings with donkey visits!  Contact us for information!  This includes a short virtual tour DVD of our natural pastured farm!
